Salem, Va. – Four Roanoke College standout student-athletes have been named to the 2018 Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) Field Hockey All-Conference Team.

Goalkeeper Emma Clark, defender Kaylin Stenson and forward Emilee Wooten were all named to the first-team, while Kestrel Thorne-Kaunelis was named to the third-team.

Clark repeats as the first-team goalkeeper after receiving the same honor a season ago. Clark had a league-low 1.09 goals against average for the season. She also led the ODAC in shutouts with five. Her .807 save percentage was second-best in the league, while 67 saves ranked ninth. Clark also allowed a league-low 16 goals during the season.

Stenson caps her career with her fourth straight all-conference honor and her second consecutive first-team accolade. Stenson anchored a Maroons defense that allowed an ODAC best 1.16 goals per game this season. RC allowed just 19 goals on the season which was the lowest in the league by seven goals and posted five shutouts on the season. Stenson was also named to the ODAC All-Tournament Team after helping RC shutout Randolph-Macon in the quarterfinals.

Wooten earned her second all-conference honor and her first spot on the first-team after registering 32 points on the year. Wooten scored 13 goals which ranked fifth in the ODAC and her six assists ranked sixth most in the league. Her 32 total points were good for fourth in the ODAC as well. Four of her 13 goals proved to be of the game-winning variety. Wooten was also named to the ODAC All-Tournament team after assisting on Lauren Heffron's goal in the quarterfinal win over R-MC and scoring in the semifinals against Lynchburg.

Thorne-Kaunelis picks up her first all-conference following a season in which she started all 16 games for RC. Thorne-Kaunelis scored goals versus Lancaster Bible and Frostburg State. She was a key figure in a Maroon defensive unit that along with Stenson and Clark led the league in goals allowed, goals against average and shutouts.

Roanoke finished the season with 12 wins and made an appearance in the ODAC Semifinals for the second straight season.
