Salem, Va. – Roanoke College Field Hockey standout Emma Clark has been selected to participate in the prestigious Victory Sports Tours/NFHCA Division III Senior Game.

One of just 60 seniors from all of Division III and one of just three from ODAC progams to be selected, the Hamburg, Pa. native will join her fellow all-stars on Saturday, November 23, 2019 at the Spooky Nook Sports Complex in Manheim, Pennsylvania. The game is slated for 5:00 p.m. following the completion of the NCAA Division III National Semifinal games.

Clark has played in 55 games during her career, including 48 consecutive starts in the cage dating back to the start of her sophomore season.

This season Clark has a 1.75 goals against average which is currently fourth-best in the Old Dominion Athletic Conference. She has two shutouts to her credit and has made 75 saves on the season.

Last season she was named First-Team All-ODAC following a junior season in which she had a league-low 1.09 goals against average. She also led the ODAC in shutouts with five. Her .807 save percentage was second-best in the league, while her 67 saves ranked ninth. Clark also allowed a league-low 16 goals during the season. For her efforts she was also named Second-Team All-State by the Virginia Sports Information Directors.

As a sophomore, she earned first-team all-league laurels after she started all 19 games in the cage for the Maroons, recording five solo shutouts on the season which was tops in the league. She made 81 saves which was fifth best in the ODAC and had a .764 save percentage which ranked fourth.

A standout in the classroom as well, Clark is a three-time selection to the ODAC All-Academic Team. In addition, she has been named to the National Field Hockey Coaches Association's Division III National Academic Squad each of the last three years.

Clark and the Maroons are currently 8-6 overall and will be back in action on Saturday when they host Shenandoah at 2:00 p.m. in key ODAC match-up.
