Highlights:

  • The first half was played to a scoreless tie, thanks in part to five saves by Hannah Roerden.

  • The Maroons would be out-shot 10-3 during a third period that would see six more Roerden stops.
  • With less than five minutes remaining in the third frame, Claire Eisenhart would put a shot on goal, after the save the ball rebounded off both teams before Emilee Wooten claimed the loose ball and deposited it in the back of the goal to make it 3-1. The goal was the 56th of Wooten's Roanoke College career, tying her for the all-time lead in goals scored.
