Salem, Va. – Fresh off an ODAC Player of the Week honor, Roanoke's Josh Freund has been named to D3hoops.com's National Team of the Week.
Freund averaged 31.5 points and 13.0 rebounds in a pair of games. He made 67.6% of his shots, connecting on 25-of-37 field goal attempts. He was also a perfect 13 of 13 from the free-throw line. He had 33 points and 17 rebounds against Emory and Henry then followed that with 30 points and nine boards in a win over Virginia Wesleyan.
Roanoke returns to action on Wednesday when it hosts Guilford at 7:00 p.m.
