Freund Named First-Team All-District by NABC

KANSAS CITY – Roanoke College's Josh Freund was selected First-Team All-District by the National Basketball Coaches Association (NABC) on Monday.

This is the latest honor for Freund who was named the Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) Player of the Year last month. A junior from Charlotte, N.C., Freund finished his junior season averaging 18.4 ppg. and 10.4 rpg. His 60.1 field goal percentage was tops in the ODAC and his 515 total points for the season was most among ODAC players. Freund finished the year with 15 double-doubles.

Roanoke and Freund earned a 20-8 record and advanced to the championship game of the ODAC Tournament. He also named to the ODAC All-Tournament Team.
