Salem, Va. – Roanoke's Josh Freund has been named to the DIII News All-American Team.
Freund was named to the publication's Fifth-Team All-American squad. It marks the second All-American honor for Freund who was named Second-Team All-American by the NABC last week. Freund was also named First-Team All-Region by D3hoops.com and was the ODAC Player of the Year.
A junior from Charlotte, N.C., Freund finished his junior season averaging 18.4 ppg. and 10.4 rpg. His 60.1 field goal percentage was tops in the ODAC and his 515 total points for the season was most among ODAC players. Freund finished the year with 15 double-doubles.
