 The Lead: The Roanoke College Golf team closed out Tom Kinder Memorial tournament on Tuesday.

How it Happened

  • Evan Diebus placed 24th overall for the Maroons with a two-day total of 76-77—153. John HatcherFerguson and Hunter Martin of Hampden-Sydney tied atop the individual leaderboard at two-under.
  • RC had a two-day total of 676 to place 11th overall. The Tigers topped host Bridgewater by four strokes after posting a two-round total of 577.

Up Next: Roanoke will have off until Oct. 15 when it takes part in the Virginia Intercollegiate at Sleepy Hollow Golf Course in Suffolk, Va.
