How it Happened
- The game was tied 2-2 after the first quarter of play before the Maroons used four unanswered goals in the second quarter to lead 6-2 at halftime. RC pulled ahead 10-4 after three quarters then scored eight times in the fourth to seal the win.
- Peter Lindley led Roanoke with four goals and one assist for a team-high five points. Both Cameron Linsley and Jason Sarro had two goals and two assists. IV Stucker scored twice and added an assist, while Kevin Jackson and Pickett Riehl scored twice.
- Steven Jackson, Dylan Stein, Danny Serafin and Dylan Fitzgerald each scored one goal. Brendan Devane, Chad Fisher, Matthew Lintner, Daniel Kravit and James Wehe all had one assist.
- Ian Davies made 14 saves in the cage for the Maroons. Reid Kaminski won 15-of-20 face-offs and scooped up eight groundballs.
