How it Happened

  • The Captains scored the first eight goals of the game with a Dylan Rice man-up goal capping the run to make it 8-0 with nine minutes to go in the first-half.
  • A Brendan Devane goal got RC on the board at 8-1, but CNU would score twice before the half ended to make it a 10-1 game at intermission.
  • Devane would add a goal in the fourth quarter for the Maroons as would Dylan Stein. Ian Davies finished with 15 saves for the Maroons. John Heckler finished with a team-best five groundballs for RC. 
  • Scott McAneney made 18 stops for CNU in 51 minutes of play for the Captains. Lucas Barry led the Captains with four goals.
