The Lead: No. 10 Dickinson topped Roanoke 16-10 Sunday afternoon in men's lacrosse action. 

How it Happened

  • Dickinson scored three times to open the game with a Max Menkes goal making it 3-0 with 6:40 to go in the first quarter.
  • Jason Sarro scored to get RC on the board before Dickson would score three more times to make it a 6-1 game 55 seconds into the second quarter.
  • Brendan Devane and Sarro scored back-to-back goals to make it a 6-3 game but Dickinson scored three of the next four goals to make it 9-4.
  • Dickinson led 10-6 at halftime and John Lockwood would make it 11-6 with 12:24 to play in the third quarter.
  • Daniel Medvetz and Peter Lindley would score to pull Roanoke to within 12-8 with four minutes to go.
  • Matt Donnelly scored for Dickinson with nine seconds left in the third and the Red Devils would score three times to start the fourth quarter to put the game away.
  • Lindley finished with three goals, while Sarro had two goals and two assists. Ian Davies finished with 14 saves for RC.
  • Brodie Phillips and Joel Mayo each finished with three goals for Dickinson. Cole Pellicano made 12 saves.
