The Lead: Top-seeded Washington and Lee scored a 4-0 win over fourth-seeded Roanoke in the ODAC Semifinals Saturday afternoon.
How it Happened:
- Washington and Lee got on the board 11 minutes into the contest with a goal from Oliver Dolberg.
- Alex Sullivan made a pair of saves in the first half to keep it a 1-0 game headed into the intermission.
- Dylan Ritch notched goals at the 50-minute mark and the 56th-minute mark to push W&L out in front 3-0.
- WLU's Harris Salom rounded out the scoring, finding the back of the net with 25 minutes remaining.
- Vincent Lamina took a header shot in the final five minutes but the ball hit the crossbar to keep to Maroons off the board.
- The Generals held a 15-9 advantage in shots on the day.
- Roanoke closes the 2018 season with a 10-5-3 record.
