The Lead: Isaac Wolf scored a goal and added an assist to lead third-seeded Roanoke to a 2-0 win over sixth-seeded Guilford in the Quarterfinals of the 2019 ODAC Men's Soccer Tournament.

How it Happened:

  • The Maroons got on the board at the 9:44 mark when Isaac Wolf was able to send a crossing pass to the middle of the box where Liam Camilleri was able to get his head on the pass and bounce the ball past GC keeper Fisher Athey.
  • With just over 36 minutes left in the match, Wolf stole a pass at midfield, dribbled to just outside the center circle and then launch a shot over a drawn out Athey to make the score 2-0.
  • The Maroon defense made the lead hold up with Zach Behe making three stops on the night.
  • Roanoke outshot Guilford 12-9 and held a 6-2 lead in corner kicks.
  • Fisher finished with five saves for the Quakers.
  • Roanoke is currently ranked No. 18 in the United Soccer Coaches Top-25 Poll and No. 4 in the latest NCAA South Atlantic Regional rankings.
