Salem, Va. – Roanoke College softball standout Rebecca Hensley has been named Third-Team All-Atlantic Region by the National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA).
Hensley, a freshman from Bedford, Va. adds the all-region honor to the First-Team All-ODAC accolade bestowed upon her on May 1.
Hensley is currently fourth in the ODAC with a .425 average with 23 RBI. Her 54 hits currently rank eighth-most in the ODAC, while her 30 hits in regular season league play were tops in the ODAC. Her 37 runs scored is seventh most in the ODAC, while her 23 RBI is 25th highest in the league. Her .471 on-base percentage is 10th highest in the league and she had 11 stolen bases. She was the only freshman named First-Team All-ODAC.
Roanoke finished 18-21 overall and 7-13 in the ODAC.
