The Basics
Score: Salisbury 6, Roanoke 1
Records: Seagulls 18-1, Maroons 6-3
Location: Salem, Va.
The Lead: The Roanoke Softball teams fell short in a pair of games to No.1 Salisbury. The Seagulls took the lead early in game one and were able to hold on to their lead. The Maroons started game two strong with a 1-0 lead but were unable to hold on.
Highlights:
- The Seagulls held there 3-0 lead until the bottom of the sixth where the maroons were able to bring in one run off a foul out to right field by Madison Courts that scored Lilly Burns.
- The Seagulls sealed their win over the Maroons in the seventh inning with a three-run home run to left center field to make the score 6-1

Highlights:
- Meri Bostic started off game two with a single into center field and advanced to second off of a sacrifice bunt by Morgan Clark. Serenity Bishop hit a single into center field which scored Bostic.
- The seagulls were able to pull ahead in the top of the third inning. Katelyn Craghead hit a line drive single into right center field to lead off the bottom of the third. Clark singled to the second basewoman allowing for Craghead to advance to second. Bishop followed with a single into center to score Craghead and advance Clark to third.
- Bostic started off the fifth inning by drawing a walk. Burns hit a single into left field advancing Bostic to second. Bishop drew another walk which loaded the bases. Kate Houle hit a line drive up the middle scoring Bostic.
- Bostic went 3-4 and Houle went 2-2 in game one.
- Bishop went 2-3 with two RBI's in game two.
