Salem, Va. – Roanoke College's Jessica Kennedy has been named the Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) Women's Tennis Player of the Week.
Kennedy helped RC to a 9-0 season-opening win against Guilford on Friday. She won a pair of matches for the Maroons. Kennedy and Lucy Collins teamed up at No. 1 doubles to top Delaney Taylor and Makayla Mclaurin 8-1. Kennedy would then top Mclaurin 6-1, 6-1 in No. 1 singles for RC.
Roanoke is off until March 3 when it takes on Wilkes in Hilton Head, S.C.
