The Lead: Women's Tennis topped Bridgewater 7-2 in midweek ODAC action.
How it Happened:
- Roanoke jumped out to a 3-0 lead after sweeping the doubles matches headed by No.1 Jessica Kennedy and Madeline Herring with an 8-2 win over Whitney Kiser and Nicole Shifflett.
- Janny Alvarado and Carolyn Kitsock defeated Stephanie Barton and Rachel Crawford 8-7 at No. 2.
- At No. 3, Arabella Goralski and Kelly MacCluen took an 8-4 decision over Katie Austin and Emily Daigneault.
- Kitsock took a No. 2 win at singles with a 7-5, 7-5 victory over Shifflett.
- At No. 4, Alvarado swept Crawford 6-0, 6-0 and MacCluen defeated Alexia Will 6-2, 6-5 at No. 5.
- Arabella Goralski rounded out the singles play with a 6-0, 6-0 sweep over Daigneault at No. 6
