Location: Atlanta, Ga.
The Lead: No. 24 Susquehanna topped Roanoke by the score of 3-0 on Sunday at the Emory University Invitational in Atlanta.
How it happened:
- In game one ,RC was able to tie the match at 16-16 following an attacking error by the River Hawks. SU then scored five straight points and what would prove to be nine of the final 11 points to take the game.
- A service ace by Logan Pasley pulled RC to within 23-22 in game two, but SU would score the final two points to go up 2-0.
- The River Hawks would hit .412 in game three, collecting 16 kills against just two errors to close out the match.
- Linsey Bailey led RC with 14 kills. Pasley finished with 15 assists to go along with a pair of aces. Kennedy Clemmer had 15 digs for the Maroons on the defensive side of the net.
- Rosina Esposito led SU with 13 kills, while Sydney Portale had 11.
