Since the Maroon Club began in 1969, he not only contributed to the program, but has given generously of his time and efforts by soliciting others to support the athletic program at the College.
One of the moving forces which brought the Athletic Hall of Fame program to fruition in 1971 to honor former athletes.
Caldwell's loyal attendance; his interest and participation in support of athletics at Roanoke is an extension of his concern for competitive athletics and can be attested to by friends and colleagues.
