The Lead: Emilee Wooten scored a goal in each half en route to a 2-0 ODAC win over Virginia Wesleyan on Saturday.

How it Happened:

• Wooten scored what proved to be the game-winner 22 minutes into the contest off a cross from Lauren Heffron to make it 1-0.
• After 18 scoreless minutes in the second half, Wooten doubled Roanoke's lead with a goal at 53:47 to make it a 2-0 game.
• Roanoke outshot the Marlins 12-5 and held an 8-7 edge in penalty corners.
• Emma Clark made five saves for the Maroons for the shutout while Skye Swain made five for VWU.
