Andrew Butts is in his first season as an assistant coach with the Maroons after a standout playing career for RC. Butts, who graduated in 2017, was a three-time All-ODAC selection during his career.
As a senior, Butts was named Second-Team All-ODAC after he finished the ODAC Championship in a tie for eighth place overall after shooting a three-round total of 79-73-79—231. It marked the sixth top-10 finish for Butts that season.
In addition, he shared the Ted Keller Sportsmen of the Year honors with Kirby Struhar of Randolph-Macon. The duo was voted by the league's head coaches as the players who most exemplify sportsmanship on and off the golf course.
