  • A Sarro goal 18 seconds after Goles' made the score 4-3 Maroons and that is how it would stand at the end of one quarter.

  • Sarro pulled the Maroons to within 8-6 with four and a half minutes to go in the third.
  • Schaffer scored a man-up goal with 1:20 left in the third period and Skyler Schluter made it 10-6 with 11:20 left in the game.
  • Roanoke rallied getting a goal from Sarro with 8:20 play and tally by Braedan Allen in the final minute but that would be as close as the Maroons would get as Cole Pellicano made five of his 16 saves in the fourth quarter to preserve the victory for DC.
