Kerr Stadium Ranked as One of the Best Places to Play College Lacrosse

Salem, Va. – Roanoke College's Donald J. Kerr Stadium has been named one of the Top-25 places to play a college lacrosse game by laxallstars.com.

Kerr Stadium was ranked No. 21 by the website and its one of just seven Division III facilities to make the list and the lone stadium ranked in the Old Dominion Athletic Conference.

Opened in the Fall of 2006, Kerr Stadium is home to the men's and women's soccer, field hockey, and the men's and women's lacrosse programs.

While it has seating for 1,400 fans, Kerr Stadium also features field turf and lights, providing intercollegiate, intramural, club and recreational opportunities for all Roanoke College students.

In 2016, the playing surface was replaced with new state of the art field turf, while the public address system received significant upgrades.

Kerr Stadium has also played a key role on the national level, having hosted the Division III Women's Lacrosse Final Four in addition to both the Men's and Women's Soccer Final Four's.
