Limited Number of Men's Soccer Jerseys Benefiting Cancer Awareness Still Available

SALEM, Va. – The Roanoke College Men's Soccer team has announced that a limited number of custom jerseys worn by the team to benefit cancer awareness are still available for purchase.

The jerseys were worn by the team on Oct. 24 against Bridgewater for Cadin's Cure. Its a cause that holds close to the Roanoke Men's Soccer Program as Team Impact player, Cadin Byrd is a member of the squad. He was diagnosed with Hodgkin's Lymphoma in the Spring of 2017.

The jerseys feature lavender numbers to increase awareness of all cancers as well as Hodgkin's Lymphoma which is represented by a violet ribbon.

Cadin officially signed with Roanoke Men's Soccer on September 22, 2017, through Team IMPACT which is a program that improves the quality of life for children facing life-threatening and chronic illness through the power of team. You may have seen him on the sidelines or meeting with the officials for the coin toss as he is an active member with the team.
