Trio Of Maroons Named All-Region

A trio of Roanoke men's soccer players earned All South Atlantic Region as voted on by the United Soccer Coaches.

Tim Leuenberger was one of two ODAC players to be named First Team while Zach Behe and Liam Camilleri eaced earned a spot on the Third Team.

Leuenberger wrapped up a stellar 2019 with six goals, two assists, and a pair of game winning scores. Tim was a member of a Roanoke defense that finished 13th in the nation giving up just .674 goals per game. His All-Region selection came on the heels of being named First Team All-ODAC.

Behe, a sophomore goalkeeper, anchored the Maroon's defense that gave up just 14 goals in their 20 games. Roanoke's .550 shutout percentage was 13th in all of NCAA DIII and individually, Behe's .470 goals against average ranked 18th nationally. Fellow sophomore Camilleri recorded a team high eight goals to go with four assists for a total of 20 points.
