The Lead: The Maroons defeated UVA-Wise 6-1 in a dual fall match Sunday afternoon.

How it Happened:

• Roanoke won three doubles matches and five of the six singles matches to earn the win.
• Riley Feher and Grayson White defeated Coleton Burke and Luke Jarnagin 6-1 at the No. 1 spot.
• Jack Fishwick and Jack Doriss earned a 6-0 win over Dominic Hoffman and John Hamilton at  No. 2, securing the doubles win.
• In singles, Thomas Hodges earned a 6-4, 6-0 win over Daniel Laughlin to start the Maroons off.
• Feher defeated Jarnigan 7-5, 6-0 at No. 3 to give RC a 2-0 edge in singles.
• Fishwick defeated Hoffman 6-2, 6-0 at the No. 2 spot, earning the 4th point of the day to clinch the match for the Maroons.
• Doriss took a 6-4, 6-4 decision over Hamilton at the No. 4 spot. 
• White dropped a 6-4, 6-4 battle to Burke at the No. 1 position.
