RC Men's  Tennis Tabbed 8th in ODAC Poll

Salem, Va. – The Roanoke College Men's Tennis team has been picked eighth in the annual Old Dominion Athletic Conference Preseason Poll. 

The Maroons earned 47 points to take the eighth spot in the poll. Juniors Jack Fishwick and Grayson White are back in the mix for head coach Daniel Ragsdale following a fall season. 

Washington and Lee University, which has won 10 straight ODAC men's tennis titles, and the conference's coaches see the Generals hoisting yet another trophy by season's end as W&L tops the annual ODAC Men's Tennis Preseason Poll. W&L collected 11 first place votes on the way to 121 points for a second straight season. Virginia Wesleyan moves up to the #2 position with 104 tallies. Just one marker separates Guilford College (98) from Hampden-Sydney College (97), with the Quakers picking up the final first place consideration. 

Roanoke opens the season on March 2 when it starts its spring break trip to Hilton Head, S.C.
