Dave Mays is a 1983 graduate of Virginia Tech. In addition to his corporate career with Allstate, Dave has coached baseball in the Roanoke Valley from Little League to the collegiate level for over twenty -seven years. He has also provided individual pitching, hitting and defensive instruction to hundreds of players at all levels during the same time span.
Dave was President of the Glenview (Chicagoland) Titans Fastpitch Association for five years (2007 -2012), leading his travel softball teams to consecutive top-five finishes in National tournaments throughout the region.
Dave returned to the Roanoke area in January of 2012 and joined Coach Mitchell at RC in 2013. He is the Recruiting Coordinator for the Maroons and on field responsibilities include hitting and outfield defense. Dave continues to provide private instruction (softball and baseball) for over 100 clients in the surrounding area.
