United Soccer Coaches announced on Monday the 2019 Scholar All-Region Teams for all levels of NCAA men's and women's soccer. Junior midfielder Lucy Perry made was named to the First Team.

Perry sports a 3.71 GPA in Environmental Science. 

To be eligible for Scholar All-Region recognition, student-athletes must meet the following criteria:

• 3.30 cumulative grade point average (on a 4.0 scale) or better throughout career
• Started more than 50 percent of all games and significantly contribute to their team
• Nominated by head coach of current College Services member institution
• Junior or above in academic standing; and, if a transfer student, in second year at school

The postseason award is just one in a long list of honors for the Richmond native. Perry was named to the All-ODAC second team for the second consecutive season. Earlier this month, United Soccer Coaches named Perry NCAA DIII All-South Atlantic Region second team.
