FOREST, Va. -- Roanoke College's Maria Vinson has been named the Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) Women's Swimmer of the Week. 

Vinson, a freshman from Richmond, Va., picks up her third weekly award after helping to lead the Maroons to a 148-15 dual meet victory over Guilford at the Salem YMCA last week. Vinson won the 200-yard freestyle in 2:02.02, marking just her second time in the event this season and first attempt at the discipline since late October. Vinson was then joined by teammates Hadley Baker, Grace Fountain, and Caylyn McNaul in winning the 200-yard freestyle relay in 1:48.37.
