New Orleans, La. - Sophomore Lindsey Baxter earned 2018 USTFCCCA All-Academic honors by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association.
Baxter was one of 627 women to earn USTFCCCA All-Academic honors during the 2017-18 track & field seasons.
To be eligible for the accolade, the student-athlete must have compiled a cumulative GPA of 3.30 or above and must have either competed in the NCAA Indoor or Outdoor Championships or finished the regular season ranked in the national top-50 in an individual event.
Baxter earned All-Region honors following the 2018 outdoor season with her best mark coming at the Liberty Twilight Qualifier where she set a new school record at 3.37M.
During the indoor season, Baxter won the 2018 ODAC pole vault title with a mark of 3.24M. She was also named the Old Dominion Athletic Conference Athlete of the Week two weeks in a row for the weeks of Feb. 13 and Feb. 20.
