On Monday the Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) announced their Players of the Week for week 8. Roanoke College midfielder Emerson Foster was named ODAC Women's Lacrosse Player of the Week.

On Saturday, Foster helped the Maroons to a 15-10 win over Christopher Newport. On the afternoon, the junior from Richmond scored six goals, four in the fist half, while picking up seven draw controls, five ground balls, and four caused turnovers. All nine of Foster's shots were on goal. For the season, Foster is second in the ODAC in goals scored (12) and third in points (13). Roanoke is now 2-0 on the year.
