One of Roanoke's finest women's lacrosse players, Woodward earned All-ODAC, All-Region, and All-American honors for three seasons. She was the first women's lacrosse player to receive three-year honors. Ferguson helped the Maroons to a 34-13 (.723) overall record, 17-7 (.708) in the Old Dominion Athletic Conference, and helped the squad win the 1987 ODAC championship (the team's first).
She finished her outstanding career with 160 points, (122 goals, and 38 assists).
Her best numbers came as a senior as she scored 40 goals and added 13 assits for 53 points, second best on the team.
