  • Induction Class of:
    2002

One of the most talented defensemen to ever wear a Roanoke College men’s lacrosse uniform, Morison was a two-time All-American and the 1992 National Defensman of the Year. A four-year starter for the Maroons, Morison was recognized as the nation’s top defender following his senior season after leading the team to the national championship contest. Morison possessed all the tools that a great defender is made of: speed, quickness, strength, size, and skill.

After earning Second Team All-American honors as a junior, Morison was a First Team selection in 1992 and is one of four, and the last, RC defenders to receive Defenseman of the Year honors. A walk-on for the Maroon program, Morison was the first defenseman to be named the Old Dominion Athletic Conference Player, earning the award in 1992.
