Widely considered one of the top offensive -minded players in Roanoke College men’s lacrosse history, Parks finished his career with the Maroons with 120 goals, 41 assists, 161 points, and one national championship. A major factor in Roanoke’s run to the 1978 national championship, Parks still remains the third leading goal scorer and 10th leading overall scorer in team history. 

As a senior, Parks was named a Second Team All-American after leading the team with 43 goals and finishing the year with 47 points, the second best total on the team. His 43 goals during the 1978 campaign are still the fifth most in single-season team history. He also led the team in goals in his junior season, scoring 33 and also ending the year with a team-best 44 points.
