Roanoke’s Female Athlete of the Year and captain of the women’s lacrosse team in 1982, Black was named to the All-State team in 1979, '80, and '82. Played left link in field hockey for the Maroons in 1979 and '80.
She accumulated 101 career points on 87 goals and 14 assists as right attack wing in lacrosse. Leading scorer for the women’s lacrosse in 1981 and '82, second in 1979, and third in 1980.
Served as the clinical coordinator of the Department of Ophthalmology at Greater Baltimore Medical Center.
