Graham Thacker Receives Honorable Mention All-ODAC in Baseball
Junior shortstop Graham Thacker was named Honorable Mention All-ODAC announced this afternoon. It is the second-straight season that the Forest, Va. native garnered this honor.
 
Thacker led the Maroons in at bats (124), hits (42), runs (26) and assists with 99. He was second in doubles (9), total bases (54) and stolen bases with four. For his career, Thacker has ranked among the best players to play at Roanoke. He is ranked seventh in hits (104), runs (51), runs batted in (59) and fifth in doubles (23).
 
Thacker hit an individual milestone against Eastern Mennonite with his first career home run (4/7). He had 13 multi-hit games, including six three-hit games this season. He started the season with a 14-game hitting streak which streamed from last season. The Jefferson Forest product hit two doubles in a win over Ferrum (3/19), scored three runs against Virginia Intermont (2/10) and Emory & Henry (3/24) and drove in three runs against Guilford (4/7). On the field, Thacker had eight assists in a 4-2 win over Frostburg St. (2/20).
 
The Maroons finished with a 10-21 record, 5-13 in the ODAC.
