Roanoke Baseball Game vs. Penn State Behrend Cancelled

SALEM, Va. --- The Roanoke College baseball team has cancelled its three-game series vs. Penn State Behrend this weekend due to inclement weather. The games will not be rescheduled. 

Roanoke is currently 4-5 on the season with wins over Virginia Intermont, UM-Presque Isle, and Frostburg State. 

The Maroons are led by Graham Thacker who is batting .419 with 13 hits, nine runs, six RBI and two doubles. Freshman Jordan McGraner (.379) also has nine runs and six RBI this season.  Alan Moore has a team high 14 hits with a .400 batting average. Leading the bullpen is Cody Kidd with 12 strikeouts and only four walks.
 
The Maroons will travel to Averett on Tues, Mar. 3. The Cougars hold a 5-1 series advantage over Roanoke and have won the last four meetings. Game time is scheduled for 1:00 p.m.
