  • The Maroons broke the game open in the bottom of seventh rallying to score six runs and capitalizing on Centre miscues.
  • With one out in the seventh, a double by Black would get things started. Later in the inning Kiley singled to score Black. In the next at bat, Clark Crutchfield singled to score Decker who reached on an error earlier in the inning.
  • After Dan Brodeur reached on an error, Eli Sumpter singled to left field scoring Kiley. In the next at bat, Anthony Teixeira hit a two-RBI single down the left field line scoring Brodeur and Crutchfield.
  • Roanoke would cap its scoring in that inning after Guida singled to score Sumpter giving RC the 8-1 advantage.
  • Guida, Crutchfield, and Sumpter all had two hits, one RBI and scored one run for Roanoke. Black went 1-for-2 at the plate with a walk, double and one stolen base.
