Three Named to ODAC All-Conference Baseball Teams
SALEM, Va. - Roanoke College's Harrison Richards, John Ruhlman and Clark Crutchfield all picked up their first All-ODAC honors after being named Third Team All-ODAC announced on Thursday.

Richards, a senior, threw 69.1 innings for the Maroons this year which was tops on the team and seventh-most in the ODAC. He also led the team in strikeouts with 58, which was good for eighth in the league. Richards' five wins puts him at sixth in the conference in that category and his two complete games tied him for first in the ODAC as well. He also picked up one save on the year while compiling a 3.25 ERA in 11 total appearances for RC.

Ruhlman, a junior, tossed 65.1 innings on the mound this year, which was tenth most in the conference. He picked up 51 strikeouts and 39 of those were in ODAC play, which was seventh in the league. In 10 games pitched for Roanoke, he collected a 3.86 ERA and opponents only hit .217 off of him overall and .193 off of him in ODAC play. On March 5th, Ruhlman tossed the first no-hitter in Roanoke College baseball history after throwing all nine innings and striking out ten.

Crutchfield, a senior, hit .328 at the plate this year with an on base percentage of .403 and a slugging percentage of .456. He collected 41 total hits on the year with 11 doubles, which was the seventh-most in the conference. Crutchfield also hit one home run and one triple while earning 17 RBI. Defensively, he was third in the conference in total chances (345) and putouts (332) at first base for the Maroons.

Roanoke was 23-17 on the year while going 10-10 in conference just missing the six-team ODAC Tournament finishing in seventh place. Its 23 wins broke the previous school record of 18 that was set in 2013.
