FOREST, Va. --- For the second straight year, it appears weather is going to play a significant role in conducting and ultimately finishing the ODAC Baseball Tournament.

In anticipation of heavy inclement weather headed for Lynchburg on Thursday, the ODAC has elected to push back the start of the 2017 ODAC Baseball Tournament one full day. Competition was slated to begin on Thursday, May 4, but each of three games scheduled that day will now be played on Friday, May 5.

The tournament will continue with the altered format thru Monday, May 8. No games have been cancelled from the possible 11 in the original format.

Listed below is the updated schedule for play at Lynchburg City Stadium this week. Any further updates will be communicated to the participating schools as well as thru conference means of communication to the public via www.odaconline.com, email, and social media outlets.

GAME 2: #2 Washington and Lee vs. #5 Hampden-Sydney - 2:30pm
GAME 3: #3 Randolph-Macon vs. #4 Virginia Wesleyan - 6:00pm

Saturday, May 6
GAME 4: Loser Game 1 vs. Loser Game 2 - 11:00am
GAME 5: Winner Game 1 vs. Loser Game 3 - 2:30pm
GAME 6: Winner Game 2 vs. Winner Game 3 - 6:00pm
