The Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) announced their Players of the Week for the week of February 15-21. Roanoke College relief pitcher Kevin Ledford was named ODAC Baseball Pitcher of the Week.

The Maroons kicked off their 2021 Campaign with a trip to Cary, N.C. to face William Peace in a double header at the USA National Training Complex. Roanoke would trail in the first game, but individual runs in three consecutive innings would tie the game and send it into extra-innings. Ledford entered the game in the bottom of the ninth and pitched two scoreless innings for the victory. In his two innings of work, the junior allowed just two hits while striking out four Pacers to get the season opening win, 6-5.
