Owen Lawn named 3rd team All-region

The American Baseball coaches Association (ABCA) announced their ABCA/Rawlings NCAA DIII All Region teams on Tuesday afternoon. Roanoke college first baseman Owen Lawn was named to the 3rd team for Region 6.

In his first season in Salem, Lawn was named All-Region after being named an All Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) selection at first base. The Wyndmoor (Pa.) native finished the season with a .342 batting average, including a .376 mark in conference play. Lawan finished in the top 20 in the conference statistical rankings with 41 runs scored, 55 hits, 36 Runs Batted In (RBI) while delivering 10 doubles. His five triples ranked 4th in the ODAC while his 105 total Bases were 5th and his 11 Home runs ranked him 3rd in the final ODAC standings. After finishing sixth in the final ODAC standings, Lawn helped the Maroons to make it to the finals of the 2022 ODAC Baseball Championship Tournament.
