Emilee Wooten named ODAC FH Player of the Week

The Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) announced the final Player of the Week awards for the fall sports on Monday afternoon. Roanoke College senior Emilee Wooten was named ODAC Field Hockey Player of the Week.

The Maroons won a pair of games last week to wrap up the regular season. In a win over Ferrum, Wooten scored four times in the 8-0 win. On Saturday, Roanoke traveled to Randolph-Macon to face a Yellow Jacket squad that they were tied with in the conference standings. Wooten scored the game's lone goal, wrapping up the #4 seed in the upcoming ODAC Field Hockey Tournament and securing a home game for the Maroons. The attacker now has 21 goals on the season, ranking her second in the ODAC in goals scored, her six game wining goals are tied for first and her 46 total points are in a tie for third in the ODAC statistical rankings.
