The Lead: Roanoke got 17 points from John Caldwell and double-doubles from John Fitchett and Joey Miller as the Maroons topped Shenandoah 85-68 for an ODAC road win Monday night.

How it Happened

• Caldwell had 17 points off the bench in just 17 minutes of action. Fitchett had 16 points and 10 rebounds, while Miller had 11 points and 11 boards in the victory.
• RC knocked down 12 three-pointers on the evening and shot 37.5% from the field and assisted on 17 of their 30 made field goals.
• Shenandoah was led by Malcolm Clark who had a game-high 21 points. SU made 26-of-70 shots from the field.
• RC led 28-22 with 6:14 to go in the first-half before reeling off 12 of the next 16 points, taking a 40-26 lead following three straight points by Caldwell.
• The Maroons took a 43-33 lead into the intermission. SU cut the lead to 45-39 with just over 16 minutes to play before RC scored 15 of the next 24 points to take a 60-48 following a Seth Bradley three-pointer.
