The Lead: Joey Miller sunk a pair of free-throws with four seconds left to lift Roanoke to a 93-92 ODAC win Wednesday night.

How it Happened 
  • Miller led four Maroons in double-figures with 19 points on the night. Carter Wright scored 15 points, John Fitchett had 14 off the bench and Seth Bradley had a career-high 12 points.
  • The Maroons shot 45.6% from the field, making 31-of-68 attempts, including nine three-pointers. RC also converted on 22-of-29 attempts from the foul line.
  • Roanoke won the battle on the glass, out rebounding W&L 44-37. Miller led the way with eight rebounds, while Cameron Smith grabbed seven boards to go along with three steals.
  • The Generals were led by Andrew Franz who had a game-high 22 points. Andy Kleinlein had 19, Clayton Murtha had 17 and Devin Kearns finished with 11. W&L shot 53.3% from the field, making 40-of-75 shots.
  • Roanoke came out strong and took a 31-18 lead on a Bradley bucket with 6:11 to go in the first-half.
  • The Generals finished the half on a 8-2 run, capped by a Kleinlein three-pointer in the final seconds that sent the teams to the locker room with RC leading 43-35.
  • A three-point play by Wright made the score 58-46 with just over 15 minutes to go in the game.
  • The Generals rallied with a 16-2 run and took a 62-60 advantage on a Kleinlein three with 13:16 to go.
  • The game would feature 13 lead changes and seven ties the remainder of the way. W&L took five point lead at 92-87 lead with 1:41 to play.
  • Miller would go on to score the final six points of the game including the game-winning free-throws. W&L had a chance to win the game by Franz's three-point attempt was blocked by Wright as time expired.
