Greensboro, NC - The golf team finished 15th overall in the Tom & Bettie O'Briant Memorial golf tournament last weekend. The Maroons shot a combined score of 641 improving by one stroke on the back nine (320). They finished fourth among the five ODAC schools in the Invitational.
Mark Ashby led the Maroons by shooting a combined score of 157, finishing 53rd. Ashby shot an 80 in the first round and improved by three strokes the following day with a 77. Ryan Robertson and Casey Fallon each tied at 63rd, shooting a 161. Josh Chocklett shot a combined score of 166, improving in the second round by six strokes. Patrick Guzi finished 74th with a combined score of 167.
The men will be back in action on Monday, October 15th, at the Virginia State Tournament.
