Roanoke Finish Third in ODAC Golf Championship Tournament

CAPE CHARLES, Va. --- Roanoke College shot a combined tournament score of 956 to place third in the ODAC Golf Championship Tournament held at Bay Creek Resort. The first and third rounds were held on the Jack Nicalus course while the second round was on the Arnold Palmer course.
Roanoke shot a 334 the first day but climbed three spots into a tie for third with Bridgewater. The Maroons shot 23-strokes better in the second day of the tournament. They shot a 311 for the second day in a row the claim the third spot and only two strokes behind Guilford for second.
Freshman Adam Skaff finished second overall with a combined score of 235 (+19). After shooting an 82 in round one, he fired a 75 in day two and 78 in the final round.
Branden Ketron (+21) finished in a three-way tie for fourth with a 237 combined score. He improved his score in each round of the tournament, including a 77 in the second round, eight strokes better than his round one score of 85 on the first day. Ketron shot a 75 in the final round.
Casey Fallon finished 11th individually with a combined score of 240 (+24). He too improved in every round, shooting a 78, which was eight strokes better than his first round of 86. He completed his best round on the third day, shooting a 76.
Ryan Robertson finished 16th with a score of 245 (+29). He maintained an 82 over the final two rounds after firing an 81 in the first round. Patrick Guzi shot a 252 for the tournament to finish 29th.
