Maroons Finish Fifth in Hampden-Sydney Invitational

Hampden-Sydney, VA --- The Roanoke College golf teamed finished fifth overall at the Hampden-Sydney Invitational. This fifth place results is the men's second best finish of the season.

Adam Skaff led the Maroons with a final score of 155. This score tied him with Averett University's Nathan Daly and Randolph-Macon's Zach Wehrman for sixth place.

Ryan Robertson and Patrick Guzi tied for 11th and 15th respectively. Robertson shot four over par in the second round to finish with a score of 157. Guzi was close behind with 159. Christopher Newport's Matt Wagner won the tournament finishing four over par.
The Maroons will travel to Virginia State Intercollegiate for competition on Oct. 11.
