Maroons finish third at Tom Kinder Memorial

Harrisonburg, Va. --- The Roanoke golf team finished behind Bridgewater and Randolph-Macon to place third in their second match of the season at the Tom Kinder Memorial.
Roanoke was led by freshman Adam Skaff who shot five-over par for a weekend total of 149 which was good enough for a seventh-place finish. The Maroons led the tournament in pars with 101, 25 of which came of the blade of Skaff.
Ryan Robertson and Casey Fallon had strong showings as both finished 18th with a two-day total of 154. Randolph Macon's Ralston King won the tournament finishing at three-under for the weekend, five strokes better than the second-place finish from Bridgewater's Mike Redwood.
The Maroons return to action at the Hampden-Sydney Invitational October 5-7.
