Roanoke places Ninth at Ted Keller Invitational

Glen Allen, Va. --- The Roanoke College Golf team shot a combined +64 (632) to finish ninth in the Ted Keller Invitational in Glen Allen, Va. this weekend. They finished fourth among ODAC schools in the event behind Bridgewater, Hampden-Sydney and Lynchburg.
The Maroons shot eight strokes better in the second day of the event, with a combined 312 score to finish three strokes behind Wesley College and five ahead of host Randolph-Macon College.
Ryan Robertson led Roanoke individually with a +13 (155) which placed him 19th. Adam Skaff finished with a +15 (157) to finished 30th. Casey Fallen (36th) had a 160 (+18) while Patrick Guzi was 43rd with a +22 (164). Brandon Ketron shot a 172 for the weekend to finish 54th. He shot 12 strokes better in the second day, which was the second-best turnaround of the tournament behind Jeff Owsik of Wesley, who shot 15-strokes better in his first round.
The men will travel to Harrisonburg, Va. to play in the Tom Kinder Invitational this weekend.
